World of Starcraft creator receives job opportunity! Fucking Sweetness!!
A modder had came up with a unique and exceptional mod for Starcraft II which actually lets you try the game in a World of Warcraft avatar.
Titled, World of Starcraft, the mod caught the attention of gamers worldwide and even Activision who sent the guy a notice to stop using the name “Starcraft” with it.
However, modder Ryan had no clue that he’ll actually get a call from Riot Games, who have offered him a job after witnessing his skills first-hand.
Things might not have been smooth for this guy but atleast in the end, he might land a job in a industry he always wanted to be a part of.
Good luck Ryan, make us proud. Enjoy the Video!!
Dead Space 2: Scared To Death!!
Visceral Games’ newest sci-fi fright-fest piles on the spooks and scares just as well as its predecessor, a 12 hour long deep dive into the insanity of engineer Isaac Clarke. In Dead Space 2, Clarke, the unlucky engineer who tore alien undead limb from limb in the original Dead Space, faces a new Necromorph onslaught on a space station dubbed the Sprawl. Even Isaac’s mental state, shattered after the events of the first game, is conspiring against him in his attempts stop the Necromorph infestation.
What’s new in Dead Space 2? Not a whole lot. Isaac Clarke still has access to a long list of weapons, many of them familiar (plasma cutter, line rack, flamethrower) and cialis cialis can upgrade those weapons and his space suit to boost his power as he faces hundreds of deadly Necromorphs. Visceral does add more to Clarke’s arsenal and gives him a few new outfits, some with unique characteristics, to play with. But the core gameplay is pure Dead Space. Isaac can stop Necromorphs dead in their tracks with a time-slowing stasis field and use a telekinetic beam to throw things around. Improved is Dead Space 2′s zero gravity movement, which gives Isaac the chance to float and fly through space. Sacrificed in that change is the disorientation of Dead Space’s original zero G movement, which had an appeal of its own.
Is That Some Hsien-Ko In My Marvel Vs. Capcom 3?
Well this shouldn’t be a huge surprise to anyone, really. I mean, Hsien-Ko was already on the one leaked list that has been nothing but correct, and the leaked achievements also hinted at her. Is this absolute solid confirmation? Maybe not as it could easily be a fake, but at the same time, it is most likely true. Watch, Capcom will probably make the announcement in a few days along with the rumored Sentinel (since it’s been said we’ll know the whole roster before the end of the month).
Next Video Game Based Animated Show is…..Angry Birds!!! WTF!!!
Angry Birds has sold over 50 million copies, making it the best-selling iOS app of all time. Let that sink in for a moment, and weep for the future. Looking to cash in on the runaway success of Angry Birds, Finnish developer Rovio is making it into an animated show. The details are sparse, but it will be on the internet, on TV, or both.
This news was first revealed as a possibility last year, but the story today is that Rovio is making it into their main focus, and that television may not be the preferred distribution outlet for the show. The show is now officially entering production, according to Rovio CEO Mikael Hed when speaking to British TV industry site C21media.net.
DC Universe Online Adds New Servers
Seems the demand for Sony Online Entertainment and DC Entertainment’s new little MMO is a bit higher than they initially expected. For the third time in only a week, they’re having to add servers.
Via press release: available now, Sony has added new servers for North America and Europe. Two new servers are now available for PvE, “Relentless” and “Last Laugh,” while players in Europe get a new PvE server, “Justice for All” and a new PvP server, “Absolute Power.”

Another sign that PC gaming is booming
Paradox Interactive’s CEO Fredrik Wester has today announced at the company’s press conference in New York (attended by our very own Evan Lahti and Graham Smith) that their total revenue has increased by 1,000 percent since 2003.
In a world where every second person insists on talking about the demise of the PC as a hardcore gaming platform, this is an interesting revelation. Paradox focuses almost exclusively on niche genres such as simulations and historical strategy, yet the company continues to grow and expand. The figure of 1,000% may well be anecdotal, but the indication of Paradox’s success is impressive nonetheless.
3DS will outsell PSP2 Like Kinect outsold Move
Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter, notorious for his bold predictions, has said that the Nintendo 3DS will outsell the PSP2, and referred to the coming battle as “Kinect vs Move all over again”.
Speaking to IncGamers, he said “Kinect is outselling Move because Kinect is new and different, while Move is very similar to the Wii,”
“I think that the 3DS will outsell the PSP2, because the 3DS is new and different, while the PSP2 is likely going to be a souped up version of the old PSP. Thus, I think that 3DS will have greater success in capturing the consumer’s imagination.”
The latest intel from Microsoft suggests that Kinect has sold over eight million units.
Nintendo announced today that Americans will receive their newest console, the Nintendo 3DS, on March 27. The system will be available in either Cosmo Black or Aqua Blue, and will have a suggested retail price of $249.99.
“Nintendo 3DS is a category of one – the experience simply doesn’t exist anywhere else,” said Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime. “You have to see Nintendo 3DS to believe it. And it’s like nothing you’ve ever seen before.”
Nintendo 3DS Hits America on March 27 for $249.99

Street Fighter IV meets 3DS
Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition. The key differences for the 3DS version from the standard console version are in the new ‘Light’ control scheme. This mode allows the user to input four different macros on the touch pad only requiring a touch to execute the maneuver. ‘Pro’ mode has the user enter all commands manually. Check it out in the video after the jump.
